How TIMG LitSupport improved processes with Fujifilm BI Aust technology

After a two-year project collaboration with Fujifilm Business Innovation (BI) Australia, TIMG LitSupport now has the right technologies to grow its business, while also benefiting from cost savings, increased staff productivity, and automation efficiencies.

LitSupport Printing Bureaus, part of The Information Management Group (TIMG) litigation support division, installed Fujifilm BI’s Revoria Press E1-Series amongst other technologies.

Following the install, the authorised supplier of Victorian legislative publications has seen early results indicate a 26 per cent reduction of the total cost of operation since the fleet update. While cost savings are important, it is also delighted with the overall effect on staff productivity.

TIMG national bureau manager Carlo Di Toro said there is only one acceptable level of service to its government, legal and corporate clients – consistent on-time delivery of error-free documentation, with complete confidentiality and security.

After a comprehensive analysis of TIMG LitSupport’s printing supply chain and requirements, Fujifilm BI Australia was able to propose and deliver a streamlined approach to refresh the former’s print fleet – new, flexible, efficient, and more cost-effective print devices, with automation and finishing capabilities that far exceed what TIMG LitSupport were used to.

The total cost of operation was now with 59 new devices, streamlined from 83 before the fleet update.

“Communication [with Fujifilm BI Australia] was so transparent that we knew we were working to the same outcome – getting the best equipment for the work, with value for money,” Di Toro said.

“Our partnership means we can step together with Fujifilm BI Australia’s devices and software matched with our expertise and localities.”

According to Di Toro, TIMG LitSupport is looking forward to leveraging the competitive edge that the new fleet provides.

With new flexibility built in for remote working, it expects to confidently bid for diverse types of work, like tender documentation, enterprise-level corporate communications and more.

And Di Toro said the Revoria Press E1-Series is already proving its worth – producing outstanding monochrome printing backed by technology focused on reliability and speed.

“Fujifilm BI Australia has enjoyed a fantastic relationship with TIMG LitSupport for over 15 years. This equips us with the knowledge required to construct a solution specifically tailored to meet TIMG LitSupport’s requirements now, and into the future,” Fujifilm BI Australia GCS Solutions national manager K.Duane (KD) Mackey said.

“And the fact that we were able to deliver this solution throughout the height of COVID-19 lockdowns is a testament to the collaboration and mutual trust that we share.”
