In a collaborative effort, this will be the first time Dscoop delegates from Asia Pacific and Japan will attend a global Dscoop conference that coincides with the largest trade event in the printing industry.
Founded in 2005 for HP graphics customers in North America, the independently-run Digital Solutions Cooperative (Dscoop) has grown to include regional chapters in Asia Pacific/Japan, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Gido van Praag, vice president, Graphic Solutions Business, HP Asia Pacific and Japan says, “We’re strongly committed to empowering PSPs to capture new growth opportunities and bring greater value to their customers.
“The timing for Dscoop at drupa 2012 couldn’t be better. Delegates can now exploit the broadest portfolio of graphic arts printing solutions in the industry and have the opportunity network and share business experiences with counterparts across the globe.”
Themed “Time to Grow Your Business”, delegates to the six-day event will be able to define their own personal experience at Dscoop at drupa 2012: from selecting customer site visits, attending the main conference, a choice of 20 educational sessions to seeing product solution demonstrations that correspond with their industry interests.
Delegates will also get the chance to visit a selection of 13 customer sites across Europe where they be given an in-depth tour of these customers’ operations depending on their business interests.
David Minnett, chairman of the Dscoop Asia Steering committee says, “Dscoop at drupa 2012 brings together graphic arts business owners and technical professionals from around the world.
“It is the industry’s most influential networking and education platform and we are delighted to be hosting an event before the opening of drupa 2012. “
The winners of the 5th Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) HP Indigo Digital Print Awards 2012 will be also announced at the event during a gala dinner on 2 May.
