On display will be the HP Scitex FB6700 (formerly the Scitex Vision CORjet), the HP Scitex TJ8300 (formerly the Scitex Vision TURBOjet) and the HP Scitex XL1500 (formerly the Scitex Vision XLjet Premium).

The HP Scitex FB6700 is a high quality, high speed inkjet press that is leading the way into a new era for packaging and displays printers, enabling them to offer their customers new and innovative services.

The large format digital printer has been optimised to print on rigid substrates such as corrugated cardboards, foam boards, compressed cardboards and other paper based liners on rigid substrates, and will deliver full sheets up to 160cm x 320cm) and up to 10mm thick, at an amazing throughput of up to 150sqm per hour yielding up to 29 full format sheets per hour.

The HP Scitex TJ8300 is a six colour press and can print up to 400sqm per hour, making it the fastest wide format digital system on the market.

The TJ8300 prints from roll to sheet (up to 1.63m x 3.66m) with a resolution of up to 448dpi.

Apart from backlit film, the TJ8300 is capable of printing on an extensive range of substrates including coated and uncoated paper, vinyl, banner, canvas, Tyvek and polystyrene to fabric, making a cost effective and versatile tool.

The HP Scitex XL1500, which will also be displayed at Ipex, is another very flexible product from the company. Its fast setup time subsequently enables printers to minimise downtime and keep production costs to a minimum.

HP’s stand at Ipex – 4B25 – will feature these three products.
