Michael Boyle has taken on a new role at HP, with his recent promotion to senior vice-president and managing director of Greater Asia.
Boyle will now be based in Singapore again, leaving Barcelona where he was located previously.
He most recently held the title of senior vice-president and managing director of the Central and Eastern European market – a role he was in for only six months.
Prior to that, he was HP’s large format senior vice-president for almost three years.
Boyle has served at HP for more than 10 years, starting off as its vice-president of Asia Pacific and Japan, based in Singapore, before taking up the role of vice-president and managing director in A/NZ and relocating to Sydney.
He then moved on to the large format senior vice-president role in August 2022, based in Barcelona.
Before joining HP, he spent five years at Canon and eight years with Océ, which Canon acquired in 2010.
Boyle reflected on his time leading the HP Central and Eastern European business, saying, “After an incredible three years living in Barcelona, my wife Michelle and I are packing our bags (and countless wonderful memories) and heading off on our next adventure in Singapore.
“A huge and heartfelt thank you to the HP Central Eastern Europe team. It has truly been an honour to lead such a brilliant team over the last six months. This isn’t goodbye – I look forward to keeping in touch and seeing you all again soon!
“[As] HP managing director, Greater Asia, I’m eager to connect with our partners, customers, and team members across the entire region.”
