Andy Molnar, managing director of Ideal Solutions says, “The Flexcel NX delivers the highest plate resolution of any flexo platemaker. This has enabled many of our customers to switch from six, seven or eight colour printing down to just the four process colours, with commensurate time and money savings.”

 According to Molnar flexo printers and trade houses using the Flexcel don’t need to print a second black, or a second white because the resolution is so high. He says, “This is causing major interest in the flexo community, as it impacts on so many costs.”

 Ideal is currently Kodak’s only channel to market in the packaging sector.
