Ilford launches Printasia Big Prints

Designed for mass retail outlets, the service consists of a branded kiosk incorporating an Epson Stylus Pro 7600 printer with Ultrachrome inks, media reader, software, and utilises Ilford Printasia media which comes in Photo Glossy, Photo Pearl and Fine Art in a variety of sizes.

Toni Martin, Ilford Imaging Australia national marketing manager says, “Big Prints is part of Ilford’s ongoing commitment to the development of value-added systems for retailers. The Big Prints system offers a simple to operate enlargement solution and the opportunity for retailers to be a one-stop-shop for customers buying and using digital cameras.

“We have recognised that the inkjet paper point of purchase is an ideal opportunity for the retailer to leverage the existing customer by providing a quick, easy, professional quality enlargement service of their favourite memory.

Marc Payet, Ilford Imaging Australia business development manager says that digital photography is experiencing considerable growth worldwide, with digital camera sales increasing 50 per cent in recent times.
