Impact has the edge with Gallus

Byron Hudghton, managing director, Impact Labels says, “There are many other press manufacturers in the market which are all capable. Where the Gallus has the edge is the granite base which means no vibration or noise, also the sleeve technology allows for quick change over times. The press is also servo driven which allows quick set up.”

Established six years ago, Impact Labels has a staff of ten and specialises in the food and beverage market.

The Hemmant based printer’s business capacity has increased by 400 per cent since the installation of the Gallus ECS340, Hudghton says, “It allows us to react quickly to customer demands, the quality has also remarkably increased, previously we were running 130 LS now we are running 175. The speed of the ECS340 has been well above expectations running consistently over 100 metres per minute on various substrates.”

“Having run older presses for the first six years of business it’s nice to know that when quoting on any label job we know that the end quality will be as good or better than our opposition.” Hudghton concludes.
