Industry to host sports charity luncheon in QLD next week

The printing industry will soon come together for a social cause, at the Small Steps 4 Hannah sports charity luncheon in Queensland on 24 February.

The event, which will take place at The Trade Coast Hotel in Pinkenba from 12pm-4pm, will see Women in Print’s Morag Pugh, PVCA’s Kellie Northwood and LIA Queensland’s Mel Ireland deliver keynote speeches.

Other guest speakers include Emma Zielke, who is the inaugural Brisbane Lions AFLW team captain leading the club to its 2021 premiership, and Jason (Aka) Akermanis, who is the Brisbane Lions’ AFL triple premiership player.

The Small Steps 4 Hannah Foundation was created by the family of Hannah Clarke and her three children who lost their lives because of domestic violence on 19 February 2020.

The foundation aims to halt the cycle of domestic violence so that everyone can feel respected, informed, confident to act, and safe.

The cost to attend is $160 per person or $1500 per table of 10 seats. The price includes a three-course lunch and drinks.

Contact Simon Carmody at simonc@spotpro.com.au or Helma Ambachtsheer at helma@spotpro.com.au to attend.
