International Forum to cover hot topics during PrintEx

Delegates from several Asian countries as well as Australia and New Zealand will come together to exchange knowledge, experiences and industry trends.

The two special interest sessions are free and open to all industry members to attend and hear from noted industry identities on trends that will affect their businesses.

The first is on Wednesday May 4 from 4.30pm-5.30pm and will feature Graham Plant, executive general manager, Pacific Micromarketing and PMP Digital, PMP.

Plant – who is also part of the PrintEx Forums – will discuss the role of print in cross channel communication and the opportunities that are emerging, including how print providers can use social media to develop business.

Plant is responsible for managing and driving the development, commercial performance and growth of Pacific Micromarketing, Dimension Solutions, Dimension Studios and PMP Digital, in Australia.

The second session will feature Philip Lawrence a well known environmental consultant, united nations technical consultant and academic, who will explore the various carbon economy models that are open to the government and how they might impact on the printing sector.

The third session to be presented by Goran Roos will seek to answer a number of questions on a broad based carbon tax, cap and trade or voluntary mechanism including: can they  work together? How do they differ? Which is best and why? And does it really matter? Why has the printing industry got a special problem?

Special Interest Sessions will be held in the PrintEx Exhibition Hall 1 Mezzanine area which also hosts the daily 11am PrintEx Forums.
