Ipex 2014 to start journey with world tour

The roadshows slated for next year are aimed to see print groups, exhibitors and associations benefit from networking opportunities, industry updates and case study discussions.

According to Ipex the roadshow will give delegates their first opportunity to experience the Ipex 2014 theme of discovering and exploring print’s role within the fast changing marketing mix.

Each event will provide networking opportunities, engaging with key print groups, associations, media and exhibitors to provide them with the latest industry analysis, trends and statistics, including discussions around growth opportunities and presentations of relevant case studies.

The organiser is expecting that international visitors will overtake those from the UK at the next event. At Ipex 2010, the split was 52 per cent UK and 48 per cent international visitors, it expects an increase to a 55 per cent international, 45 per cent national next time around.

The organiser is banking that a change of location from provincial city Birmingham to the nation’s capital London will encourage more overseas visitors.

The current list of countries on the Ipex 2014 international roadshow includes Australia (Sydney & Melbourne), Belgium, Brazil, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, South Africa, Sweden, Turkey, the UK and the USA.

Attendees will also hear the latest updates on Ipex 2014, including technology highlights and details of features that will be incorporated in the event. This will include information on Cross Media, Informa Exhibitions’ event for marketers, agencies, print and media owners, which will be integrated with Ipex in 2014 to showcase everything that’s dynamic and innovative about print in today’s contemporary marketing mix.

In addition, the Ipex 2014 team will provide an overview of services that will be offered to visitors, exhibitors and the media to ensure travel and accommodation arrangements can be made as effortlessly and cost effective as possible.
