IPMG’s distribution arm NDD hands clients to ACP’s Network Services

So far, around 80% of NDD’s titles have agreed to move their distribution to Sydney-based Network Services, which is owned by ACP.

NDD general manager Mark Darton said the company’s number one priority is to “ensure minimal impact to our publishers and retailers”.

Network Services’ group general manager Niall Murphy told ProPrint that Network Services is still in the process of finalising deals with publishers, and could not provide specific names or numbers of customers moving across.

He encouraged NDD’s publisher clients to engage with Network Services’ management team in the near future.

NDD will continue to act as a distributor until the end of July. Network Services will assume distribution in August for the titles that have chosen to migrate over.

IPMG, the parent company of Hannanprint, announced it was closing down distribution business NDD due to “insufficient volumes in the market” in June.

NDD has around 70 staff and services more than 200 publishers. It lost News Magazines to PMP late last year.

Network Services is the distribution arm of ACP Magazines, Australia’s largest magazine publisher.
