Ferag Australia and Plunkett & Johnson have announced an agreement that will see both companies target the Australian and New Zealand printing markets with a variety of press control and finishing products from Quad/Tech and its subsidiary, PressTech.

The agreement will see Ferag Australia concentrate on the newspaper and packaging markets in Australia while Plunkett & Johnston will focus on commercial printing in Australia and New Zealand. In anticipation of the deal, Plunkett & Johnson recently added former PressTech employee David Jump to its installation and service team.

Ferag Australia managing director Markus Haefeli and Plunkett & Johnson sales director Steve Farrell recently came together to seal this arrangement and have both reconfirmed both companies’ dedication to the pan-Tasman printing industries.
