Andy Molnar, managing director of ideal solution, says, “At PrintEx we launched the new flexo technology system from Kodak called the Flexcel NX Digital Flexographic System. This is a complete solution for the production of flexographic plates that elevates print quality and print stability. It is designed for a wide range of mainstream packaging applications and uses technology to deliver results and surpass those achievable with traditional flexo plate technology for gravure like quality.
“We would like to congratulate the Kirk Group who have been a leading provider of gravure and flexo products and services to the industry in the Asia Pacific Region for now purchasing their second Flexcel NX and the first Flexcel NX wide format machine in ANZ.
“The benefits of using the flexel system to the brand owner or retailer are shelf impact – strong colours, clean tones, and whiter whites. The trade-house benefits in the simplification of design and reduction of plates, which in turn massively benefits the printer/converter as their savings on make-ready can be enormous to all parties involved. We believe this product is truly a paradigm shift in the flexographic industry.”
The Ideal Solution team had no time to catch its breath at the show. Molnar, “There was a tremendous amount of interest during PrintEx11 from trade-houses, printers/converters, and major brands on the Flexcel technology. The Flexcel technology crosses all the bounds and has an efficiency and high quality impact on every aspect of the packaging product from design, through pre-press, all way to press. We are the master distributor for everything packaging for Kodak in Australia and New Zealand with our main office and Kodak Centre of Excellence showroom in Sydney.”
