Konica Minolta Australia has named Andrew Cocker to the role of general manager, production and industrial print, following Sue Threlfo’s imminent retirement.
Earlier this month, Threlfo announced that she will retire at the conclusion of this year’s PacPrint after 33 years in the printing industry.
As such, Cocker will take on the role of general manager, production and industrial print, effective 1 July.
Cocker will be responsible for continuing to drive the production and industrial print business in Australia, helping customers in print, label, and packaging to evolve and thrive in a recovering market.
He will also continue to focus on accelerating high-growth in these areas of print, driven by the growing demand for short-run and increased onshore manufacturing.
Cocker has more than 24 years of experience in the digital document and workflow industry, supplying hardware, software, and service enterprise solutions.
He was previously sales manager – production and industrial print at Konica Minolta Australia. Prior to this, he has held management and leadership roles in operations and production sales within the industry.

Cocker said he looks forward working with the team, sharing his experiences in commercial print rooms and high-volume production environments to help the company’s customers diversify, save time, and reduce costs to empower the growth of their business.
