Kodak says Magnus CTP offers green benefits

The Magnus 400 III platesetter (pictured) is a four-up CTP aimed at improving productivity, quality and flexibility.

Robert Mollee, business development manager for prepress solutions at Kodak Australasia, said: “Fast imaging speeds and a variety of automation options make this ideal for a growing business.

“By using Kodak thermal direct non-process plates, pre-press professionals can further reduce their environmental impact.”

The kit supports up to seven language options, has an auto-recovery system, and a gigabit ethernet communication.

Meanwhile, a new software-based feature, the Kodak Intelligent Prepress Manager, allows remote monitoring of the plate line for higher productivity and efficiency.

An Australian release date could not be confirmed at the time of publication.
