Holtsmark (pictured) comes to the role after serving as EFI’s director of sales for the Asia-Pacific region, before the company chose to close its regional office in Sydney.

“Eric’s appointment comes at a great time for Konica Minolta Australia – with PacPrint 2009 only weeks away, we have many exciting new announcements and Eric’s in-depth understanding of the local market makes him a real asset to the team and our clients during this important time,” said David Procter, national production printing group manager at Konica Minolta Australia.

“On top of this, I have known Eric personally for 15 years and his drive and enthusiasm will bring a lot to the Konica Minolta Australia arm.”

Holtsmark was quick to return the praise, saying, “David’s worked hard over the last few months to grow the team to include a great deal of industry talent, making this a fantastic opportunity to become part of Konica Minolta Australia – I’m thrilled to be joining such a great group of people in this exciting time”.

The company is currently gearing up for PacPrint, with Holtsmark saying they have “many new announcements on the cards”.
