Kuhn Corp Print & Packaging’s Walter Kuhn joins 2025 Shitbox Rally

Walter Kuhn, director at Kuhn Corp Print & Packaging, along with teammate Andrew Smith are taking part in this year’s in Shitbox Rally 2025 – Australia’s largest community-led fundraiser for the Cancer Council.

Now in its 15th year, Shitbox Rally challenges participants to drive their ‘shitboxes’ – cars worth $1,500 or less – across Australia via some of its most formidable roads, all in the name of charity. This year’s route will see teams travel from Alice Springs to the Gold Coast.

Since its inception in 2010, Shitbox Rally – alongside its sister event Mystery Box Rally – has raised more than $50 million for cancer research.

As part of their participation, each team must raise a minimum of $5,000, although most exceed this target.

The Spring 2025 Rally aims to raise more than $2 million for the Cancer Council.

“These funds go directly to the Cancer Council, and we are extremely proud to be doing our part to support such a worthy cause,” said Walter Kuhn.

“Some may not know this, but I’m a lung cancer survivor. Right now, two of our staff are battling cancer, so this cause is incredibly personal for us.

“We’ve lost far too many good people in our industry to this disease. This is our way of fighting back – raising funds that will help researchers get closer to finding a cure.

“Our goal is to raise $10,000, and every single dollar gets us closer. No donation is too small. Whether you’re a business, a school, part of a community group, or just an individual wanting to help – your support makes a difference.”
