Kurz Australia turns 35

Kurz Australia was the first subsidiary, established in 1970 to consolidate its global approach to production and sales.

Managing director Nial McIver says the company has continued to build on the strong management of the past by diversifying and refining the operation and offering its customers a vast support network with major benefits, quality products and efficient international and local logistics backup.

“Thirty-five years on, the quality of Kurz staff ensures our customers direct access to pro-active sales and office personnel, who can deal promptly and efficiently with all their ordering requirements, sales or technical enquiries and promotional advice,” says McIver.

Kurz group began in 1892 when hand beating gold was the fashion and master craftsmen specialising in this process were required. The Kurz Group played a pioneering role in the industry by refining and eventually automating what is now referred to as hot stamping decoration.

Over the years, the company has kept abreast of the times, ensuring its customers are well informed as to the latest technical advances in hot foil stamping, thermal transfer ribbons and more recently cold foil.
