KW Doggett thinks outside the box and inside the fortune cookie

KW Doggett has turned to green and yellow fortune cookies to promote its packaging grades.

The promotion features Chill Board and Hercules Greyback boxes with promotional pads and fortune cookies inside. The fortune cookies also contain marketing messages.

"The boxes are designed to be a functional yet fun way to demonstrate the print qualities and applications for the packaging grades," according to Doggetts.

"The bold, colourful graphic patterns showcase each stock’s print qualities on both the coated and uncoated sides. The stackable boxes ensure future promotions can be added to the suite. The pad doubles as a mini swatch and lists each products attributes and logos. The cookie adds an element of fun as well as being informative."

Packaging business development manager John Alipan said the promotions showed the two grades as they would look on a retailer's shelves.

"The colours pop right at you and the foil finishes off the carton nicely. The unique structure is clever, with each box able to sit on top of the other. We stock 10 packaging grades and plan to roll out more in the same colourful format," he said.
