Hyde also showcased the company’s Omega SRI machine.

The Omega SRI is an efficient and versatile label finishing system, which offers three high speed functions: slitting, rewinding and inspection.

With integrated quality inspection system and reduced waste control, the SRI can improve productivity and efficiency across a business. The larger diameter unwind and nip roller wrap around improves tension control – preventing slippage and interweaving of the web.

Some of its key features include:

  • A large diameter unwind – 840mm unwind Vs standard 800mm diameter
  • A nip roller wrap around – Better tension control and avoiding interweaving of the web
  • Three speed options – For slitting, rewinding and inspection
  • A fleyeVision camera – Integrated for quality control
  • Retrofittable options – Compatible with a range of machine set ups
  • An ergonomic functionality – Easy sensor adjustment and low splice table
