LATMA and Kurz combine to inspire development

LATMA National President, Brenton Barrett, and Richard Weaver, KURZ Australia national sales manager, recently announced details of the new incentive project in the form of the LATMA/Kurz Australian Technical Development Award.

This innovative award is available exclusively to LATMA Convertor members and consists of an all expenses paid trip to the KURZ plant in Furth, Germany, where the winner will experience “one-on-one” training in the latest developments in the hot and cold foil stamping industry.

The winner will also visit the Hinderer and Muhlich die making facility near Stuttgart.

Barrett says, “Each state will screen applicants and then recommend the most worthy candidates to a national selection panel, who will make the final choice”.

The winner will be announced at the LATMA National Conference in the Barossa Valley, in April next year.

Weaver says, “We at Kurz Australia are delighted to be involved with the project. Expert training in the area of foils and tooling can only benefit the winner and eventually improve the overall quality of foil stamping within the foil sector.”

Working as a team, the two organisations hope to “raise the bar” and hopefully, produce the industry leaders of the future.
