LIA visits Worldwide Online Printing

With almost 80 online franchise operations, Worldwide Online Printing is said to be the fastest growing online print provider in Australia.

Files for all print produced at the Alexandria plant comes online and a ‘round the clock’ operation provides a two- to three-day turnaround for the majority of work.

The total national output of all Worldwide Online Printing franchises last year was 150,000 design and print jobs with over 120 million items delivered to customers.

NSW production manager, Iain Marshall, lead the tour which showcased how the online workflow operates from receipt of files to the final finishing and distribution back to the franchisee.

Refreshments were provided by Cyber Australia Pty Ltd, which supplied a five-colour Ryobi 925, Worldwide Online’s first B1-size press as part of the group’s $4.5m investment in new technology.

The 925 joins an existing four-colour A2-size Ryobi press.

After dinner, national production manager, Chris Eales, outlined some of the secrets to the outstanding growth of the company in the ten short years it has been in business and proposed a vision for the online print business of the future.
