Local printer to debut on ‘Beauty and the Geek’

Kirgan, who runs Blackhouse Comics out of his printing plant in the Sydney suburb of Revesby, was asked to judge the ‘Superhero Challenge’ on the TV show, which has been getting almost 1 million viewers per week.

He will appear on the show as a guest judge in a challenge where the beauties dress the geeks in superhero outfits.

Kirgan said: “The irony of the challenge was that the geeks had been dreaming of being superheroes since they were five years old and had mapped everything out,” he said.

“The problem was they weren’t allowed to perform the task and, in fact, had to suppress their desire to make recommendations to their beauties. Their frustration was palpable because we could see they desperately wanted to speak up and advise their partners.”
