
The audit covers 16 quarterly-audited publications from industry heavyweights such as ACP and Pacific Magazines, and painted a grim picture with 14 of the 15 titles surveyed showing weaker year-on-year circulation figures.
Trading publication Quokka was the only publication to post a rise in circulation with a 2.8% gain, whilst gossip magazines Famous and NW notched whopping 18.4% and 15.3% losses respectively.
Even the leading publication, Woman’s Day (pictured), posted a 13.8% loss in circulation, whilst the number two, New Idea, notched a 12.2% loss.
Overall, the publications posted an 8.6% decline in circulation compared to the same quarter last year.
