Velflex general manager Mandy Olivier has announced she will be stepping down to take a new role.

Olivier told Sprinter that after eight years with the business she plans to take some time off to spend with her family before joining the music industry as the head of people and culture.

“This is a bit of sea change but also something I am quite passionate about and is in a completely different industry to what I have been doing, however, I am looking forward to growth and doing something new. I like being out of my depth and not necessarily knowing everything. You never know – I might cross paths with the printing industry again one day,” she said.

“After eight fantastic years as part of the Velflex family it with a bittersweet heart that I share the news of my departure as I step down from my role as general manager to pursue an exciting opportunity,” Olivier said in an emailed statement.

“Having the opportunity to work with each of you has been an absolute pleasure. The laughs, the wins and even the challenges are all etched in my memory. Thank you for making my time at Velflex memorable and rewarding.”

Velflex managing director Ben Carroll told Sprinter that Mandy will be missed.

“Mandy has left indelible mark and influence on the growth of the Velflex business. Her influence has been immeasurable, and we wish her the best in all of her future endeavours. She leaves a strong legacy and we will be forever grateful for the impact that she has made.”
