To counter this, DES and Chromaticity Australia have joined forces to run a two day in-depth Digital Inkjet Course.

Specifically designed for professional photographers, fine art reproducers and creatives using RGB digital output, the masterclass is an opportunity professionals to be guided through advanced colour management, software, printer drivers, media types and image reproduction.

On completion of the course, attendees will be able to create an accurate colour managed workflow and fully understand how to achieve optimum results from their inkjet machines.

The class will explore technical aspects of the colour critical workflow such as how to establish a colour managed environment, and how to make inkjet prints that match what you see on screen. C

It will also cover colour terminology, media overview, ICC profile creation, editing and checking, monitor calibration and profiling, Photoshop colour settings and workflow.

Attendees will have access to: Epson Wide Format Inkjet 2400, 4800 and 4000 printers, Canon Wide Format Inkjet W6400 PG, GMB Eye one, X-Rite Pulse DTP20, X-Rite DTP94, Quato Intelli Proof Colour Accurate Monitors, Lacie Monitors, Adobe Photoshop, GMB iMatch and ProfileMaker software, X-Rite Colour Elite and X-Rite Monaco Profiler software, Monaco Optix Pro and GTI Viewing Systems.
