Michelle Hancox, product specialist for NEC’s display solutions division says, “The SpectraView II software solution delivers the most advanced technologies for enhanced desktop colour performance.”

He continues, “The SpectraView II Colour Calibration software alongside NEC’s LCD displays are revolutionizing the way flat-panel monitors can be used, delivering advanced functionality in the most intelligent visual display solution on the market.”

The SpectraView II system, available for Mac OS and Windows, uses a colorimeter to take colour measurements of the display screen during calibration. The software analyses these measurements and sends colour adjustment commands directly to the display monitor, allowing the full colour resolution and fidelity of the system to be maintained.

SpectraView II is available as a bundle with select NEC professional displays and combined with a professional, light shielding hood or separately at an estimated price of $159.
