Neopost opens doors for tech showcase

Neopost opened the doors of its showroom in Auburn, Sydney for the printing industry to give a rare insight into its national headquarters and the broad range of equipment it supplies.

Neopost is a full circle partner across mailing , digital, finishing and large format printing.

Speaking to Australian Printer at the showcase, Neopost managing director Stuart Macdonald says the aim of the day was to further integrate the Neopost brand with the printing industry.

“I think one of the challenges we face is having such a wide range of equipment and a diverse range of customers, trying to show our whole range to our customers is difficult,” Macdonald says.

“We figured an open day would be a good opportunity to bring in some relevant speakers, match that with a demonstration of our products and to give our customers a perspective of what we do.”

The guest speakers on the day included HP application specialist for Sign & Display, Jeremy Brew, Two Sides Australia’s marketing executive Victoria Fratin, the Australian Institute of Credit Management’s Andrew Le Marchant and Diane Costa, director of Marketing Mechanics.

For the printers who attended, Macdonald hoped Neopost was recognised as a potential digital partner as the industry undergoes a period of transformation.

“We still represent the physical but obviously we have a lot of digital products in terms of software and digital output,” Macdonald says. “So we are perfectly positioned to be the go-to partner to help printers transition from one to the other.

"Today has been worthwhile to bring the best in breed in our industry across a diverse range of topics, to help our customers grow and in essence, support our graphics industry."

  1. How about talking to your customers about the poor technical service, instead of blowing your trumpet?
