New at Igas: Flexiblity and commitment from MAN Roland

MAN Roland presented the Roland R505-LV, in its configuration as a five-colour-press with UV-coating module and IR-dryer. This machine is especially interesting for the Australian market claims IPP Australia’s John Hansen.

Its finishing opportunities together with press configurations should serve small format requirements very well. The first MAN Roland R500 in Australia will be installed in October in Queensland at Print Point. Two further presses will follow afterwards, one of them in NSW.

With the presentation of the Roland R704 – a four colour press using Hybrid-ink and a coating module, MAN Roland wants to emphasise the flexibility and possibilities which this machine offers and it aims to meet the needs of some new customer target groups with it.

One unit of the Lithoman web press which was presented at the booth shows an additional commitment to the Japanese market. Man Roland claims that with the order from Watchtower in Japan, this is the first non-Japanese web offset press of its type to be installed in Japan.
