Sampson takes over from Ian Winters who, after more than ten years in the role, relocated to Melbourne as General Manager Supply for PaperlinX Merchanting.

Sampson has undertaken various positions in PaperlinX since 1982, and more recently as Customer Service Manager for Spicers Paper NSW.
