Further consolidating its position as the largest sheetfed print business in Queensland, the Ormeau plant expands Penfold Buscombe’s operations in the State to four facilities, which together will serve corporate Queensland in sectors such as financial, government, insurance and general advertising agencies. Major clients in the State include Keno and the RACQ.
The Ormeau facility incorporates a major investment in new plant and equipment that Penfold Buscombe says will offer Queensland clients the opportunity to access the most advanced developments in print technology and direct mail.
The facility offers inhouse solutions ranging from direct mail and sheetfed printing to warehousing solutions and is easily accessible from central Brisbane.
The new facility is set to employ over 130 staff, bringing Penfold Buscombe’s total staff numbers nationwide to approximately 750.
Alistair Hill, managing director of Penfold Buscombe says, “Penfold Buscombe has benefited from the strong Queensland economy for some years and I’m proud that we can mark our 30th year in the State by strengthening our presence with this significant investment”.
Penfold Buscombe’s investment in the facility is part of the company’s investment in organic growth for the current financial year.
