New scanner from Epson

Epson is now one of the market leaders in Australian proofing, and showcased its entire range of large format inkjet products, including the Stylus Pro 4000, 7600, 9600 and 10600. Epson also showed a variety of workflow and utility software to suit professional printing applications. It had five partners on the stand, who were showcasing new software solutions, including EFI Proofing Solutions, GMG, CGS, Compose Systems and Colorgate.

Epson launched the Expression 10000XL, the latest addition to its scanner portfolio of products to suit both professional and high-end consumers. Designed to meet the most demanding graphic arts applications, the Expression 10000XL is an A3+ graphic arts scanner, which the company says features high resolution, fast scanning speeds, excellent functionality and advanced networking capability.

The new Epson Stylus Pro 4000 is the focal point for Epson’s professional photo studio situated on the stand. The digital photo studio has the capability to produce data on site and demonstrate how this can be edited, printed, proofed and checked on location. Visitors had the opportunity to experience first hand a variety of stages in the commercial digital imaging process.
