Night at the Circus for National Print Awards

The 2017 National Print Awards presentation dinner is less than 3 weeks away and organisers say those wanting to participate in the industry’s night of nights need to book their tickets now.

Printing Industries’ marketing and communications manager, Ali Quaintance, says this year’s theme is a modern take on ‘a night at the circus’, and will be hosted by an MC and entertainer, a well-known, high-profile Australian comedian.

Maintaining mystery, Quaintance says Printing Industries is not going to drop names just yet.

Entries are closed, and judging completed for the awards.

Jennifer Baile, chief judge for the Awards says, ““With an increased number of submissions in 2017, we are thrilled to see the calibre of entries remains exceptional. It was indeed a challenging task for judges to determine the medallists across 23 categories.

“Of particular note in 2017 was the diversity in the entries received. From packaging, limited edition books, self-promotion, wide-format and beyond, we see our industry embracing different technologies to raise clients’ expectations of what they can now demand”.

Coinciding with PacPrint 2017, tickets sales to date for the Awards presentation dinner show a strong attendance of national and international delegates across many sectors of the printing industry, says PIAA.

“Look overhead for excitement in the rafters, everything will be revealed at the night at the circus”, says Quaintance.
