NMP brings laminating in house with Komfi Delta

NMP managing director, Kieran May says the Komfi Delta, supplied by Jet Technologies, satisfies the need for a simple to operate machine which can be used on both offset and digital print.

He says, “Jet Technologies were invited to participate in the decision making process and, in view of their very straight forward lines of communication and decision making, they were clear winners in securing the deal.”

May continues, “The final cost was competitive, the information flow was prompt, and the installation and training was undertaken quickly and effectively.”

May outlines that NMP was formed with the concept to provide the ACT and Federal Government markets with a low cost, quality conscious four colour printing solution.

While previously outsourcing facets of jobs, NMP outlines that the Komfi Delta purchase is in line with its aim to bring more of its services in house to better control work flow and ensure high standards required by the company’s environmental certifier, Good Environmental Choice Australia, are more tightly controlled.

According to the manufacturer, a compact automatic laminator, the Komfi Delta is designed for medium and larger lamination orders up to the B2 format. It is a robust and reliable solution for both on-demand and commercial lamination primarily suitable for three-shift operation.
