Dale Hawkins, Océ marketing manager of Wide Format Printing Systems and Imaging Supplies divisions, says, “As the demand for imaging supplies materials continues to grow, Océ is transferring the business to a South Australian based organisation to enable the delivery of a higher level of customer service”.

Previously, Océ serviced its 200 plus South Australian customer base directly through its customer care centre, located in Melbourne. The South Australian market represents ten to 12 per cent of Oc’s revenues for the Imaging Supplies division.

Océ says this development is designed to increase the speed with which customers can take delivery of their imaging supplies orders. It says it turned to Corporate Express because of its dedicated focus and local knowledge of the South Australian market and its ability to rapidly respond to customer needs with the availability of next business day delivery.

“Additionally, the intense training schedule Océ has in place will ensure that Corporate Express representatives can provide South Australian customers with the latest information on wide format imaging supplies,” says Hawkins.

Don Kouimanis, a South Australian 20-year veteran of the wide format printing industry, has been appointed Manager of Wide Format Printing Systems at Corporate Express SA.

Rick Morris, Corporate Express South Australia general manager, says, “Don, the founder of Ace Plot Technologies which was recently acquired by Corporate Express, takes on a new role of directly servicing the South Australian imaging and printer market. Don’s advanced wide format expertise will ensure there is a continued high level of service to those using imaging and printing supplies.”
