Océ introduces new Canon series to local market

Following the introduction of the imagePress colour series and the imageRunner Advance product range, this is the third series of Canon production systems that Océ is offering since joining the Canon global group.

The newly combined company, which creates the world’s largest printing equipment enterprise, combines a 130-year Océ heritage of leadership in narrow and wide format printing with the vast technical and financial resources of Canon.

The C9000 Pro series is specifically designed to help print professionals in corporate print rooms, print-for-pay and commercial printing environments address a wider range of customer requirements and expand their service offerings to increase customer loyalty and profitability, according to Océ.

Canon also explains that the system combines high image quality, flexibility, productivity and functionality in one all-in-one production colour printer. The series addresses heightened demand for sustainable products and business partners.

Also according to Océ, the system consumes less energy and emits less carbon, ozone and noise levels than previous models, to provide improved working conditions for staff and a sustainable competitive edge for print businesses.

The C9000 Pro series includes two models – the C9065 and C9075 – which produce 65 and 75 colour impressions per minute and scan up to 200 black & white and 140 colour images per minute.

Océ continues that the systems respond to the growing digital production needs of users in in-house print rooms, print-for-pay and commercial printing environments. For added flexibility, C9000 Pro production colour printers can be configured with Fiery-based controllers.
