
Excluding exceptional costs relating to the integration with Canon, Océ made a €9m pre-tax profit on revenues that were down 3.3% to €1.3bn.
During a six-month period where the Dutch manufacturer launched its Arizona 550 GT flatbed, revenues within its wide-format division decreased slightly to €343m.
Colour revenues in wide-format incrased by 2%. Growth in production cutsheet and continuous-feed colour helped curtail a decline in sales in the company’s production print division (Digital Document Solutions).
Revenues within this division dropped 3.9% to €718m, with the manufacturer citing the market deterioration within its office and black & white continuous feed products.
With the company’s acquisition by digital manufacturer Canon ongoing, Océ said priorities for the rest of the year continued to be the cross-selling of products.
