OMA reports revenue increase for 2024 Out of Home full year results

The Outdoor Media Association has released the full year net media revenue for the Out of Home (OOH) industry, reporting a total increase of 8.07 per cent on net media revenue in 2024. 

The net media revenue for 2024 increased to $1.301 billion, up from $1.193 billion in 2023, across the following categories: 

  • Roadside Billboards (over and under 25 square metres) saw $540.7 million in revenue, up from $516.3 million in 2023
  • Roadside Other (street furniture, bus/tram externals, small format) saw $291.8 million in revenue, up from $271.3 million in 2023
  • Transport (including airports) saw $172.9 million in revenue, up from $141.2 million in 2023 
  • Retail, Lifestyle and Other saw $296.4 million in revenue, up from $275.7 million in 2023.

The association added that Digital Out of Home (DOOH) revenue accounted for 75.2 per cent of total net media revenue year-to-date, an increase over the recorded 73.4 per cent for the same period last year.
