On Demand will be producing cards that let residents know they have a package to collect. Bruce Peddlesden, managing director, On Demand told Australian Printer, “The contract is worth $2m a year for the next three years with a two year extension option after that.”
Peddlesden says, “We won the contract after a competitive tender. Our online solution was the key to Australia Post awarding the contract to us. The ease of transaction and cost savings of our online solution was better than others, and this was the major factor in the decision.”
The contract was previously supplied by Geon who was also one of the tenders bidding for the contract.
On Demand was established in 1988 by Peddlesden and is the world’s first small format digital printer to achieve the ISO 12647 PSO accreditation across its facilities.
