Says Bisset, “For 30 years MIS has been used as an estimating, production and cost control system. It’s time to change the emphasis! With the wealth of data and analysis that Optimus MIS is famous for, we have extended our solutions to help support our customers’ business growth.”
Optimus is introducing new functionality to help its customers increase sales activity and opportunities without increasing costs; all the information required to do this is already gathered within the existing Optimus system.
Since few busy print managers have the time to properly evaluate the impact of sales generated and their true worth to the business, Optimus has launched dash Sales Generator to provides invaluable, instant analysis giving a clear understanding of the impact of revenue – top selling products may not necessarily be the most profitable!
The available analysis includes:
- Top Selling Products
- Top Sales by Customer
- Top Selling Finished Goods
- Most Profitable Products
- Most profitable Customers
- Least profitable Customers
- Least profitable products
The analysis can be used dynamically to profile customers by a wide range of criteria thereby enabling the understanding of buying trends and habits. Once profiled, the results can be used for targeted, incentivised promotions.
dash Sales Generator allows Optimus customers to focus on promoting the right products to the right customers.
Efficient, cost effective marketing is made possible with dash Campaign Manager, without increasing overheads claims Bisset.
The use of cross media is increasingly being recognised as enhancing the value of communication, where the level and depth of message/involvement is said to be more relevant and therefore more powerful.
Cross Media Communication has been part of the Printing Industry for some time and ‘Complete Media Solutions’ companies have been successfully incorporating this as part of their service. With dash Campaign Manager, Optimus customers can now benefit using cross media to promote themselves.
dash Campaign Manager uses the data available in the dash Sales Generator to enable the sending of email or printed mail-shot campaigns to those targeted customers and prospective customers identified as sales opportunities. Campaigns could be based around special offers, new product launches or the targeting of specific products to specific customers.
“dash Campaign Manager helps our customers stay in touch with their customers with little effort and cost,” explains Bisset.
“How many sales opportunities are lost due to slow responses or not enough time to pursue? How many hours are wasted in paperwork back at the office either in preparing quotations or filling out job cards?” asks Bisset.
“The new Cloud Mobile module is specifically designed for the sales team on the road using mobile tablet devices. Capturing instant buying decisions is at the heart of Cloud Mobile.”
Developed by Optimus largely as a result of demand from Australian users, Cloud Mobile allows the sales team to prepare instant quotations and to take orders for standard pre-defined products and finished goods. They are also able to view customer specific information including job history, current job status and quotation history, all whilst sitting in front of their customer.
“The time saved is considerable,” explains Optimus Software Specialist, Henny van Esch. “There is no duplication of effort as the sales team are inputting the necessary information which automatically appears in Optimus dash; equally the time saved by the sales team in wasted office hours can be used to make more sales calls.”
Meanwhile, Optimus has designed Cloud Sales Manager for the sales team on the road using mobile tablet devices. It allows the immediate updating of diary events, planned actions, proposed actions and historical information of the interaction between the sales team and their customers.
Cloud Sales Manager frees up valuable sales time ensuring no missed sales opportunities.
Back at the office, Cloud Sales Manager can be accessed by the Management Team for a transparent view of sales activity in real time by day, week or month.
