Orafol Group announces Alex McClelland as executive vice president Asia Pacific

Orafol Group has announced the appointment of Alex McClelland as its new executive vice president for Asia Pacific, effective 21 May 2024.

This marks the beginning of a formative era for the Orafol Group in Asia, with McClelland leading the region’s growth and expansion, including Australia.

McClelland moves into the regional role from his position as managing director of Orafol Australia, where he has overseen the company’s development and growth in the local market for the past five years. Prior to that he was 16 years as managing director and shareholder at Spandex Asia Pacific and a period with Mulford Plastics.

Orafol has successfully supplied into Australia for the past 25 years, and McClelland has overseen recent expansion and growth for the business, including the move to a new and larger office and distribution facility in Erskine Park, NSW post-pandemic.

Orafol Europe GmbH was established in 1808, producing inks for the Kingdom of Prussia. Over the centuries, it has evolved and adapted through smart growth and acquisitions to become the global Orafol Group.

Orafol Australia has offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth.
