Orders up 10% at Doggetts' Sydney plant for Xmas rush

NSW state manager James McGrath told ProPrint that August to December was the busiest time of the year for the 60 staff at the Enfield factory.

He made the comments during a tour on 18 September, where about 30 visitors were invited into the 13,500sqm plant.

The function was organised by the Junior Printing Executives Association of NSW and the Lithographic Institute of Australia.

Enfield operates at about 85% capacity, said internal sales supervisor John Almond, who led one of the tour groups.
