
The Out of Home (OOH) industry has announced a half year net media revenue of $593.1million, up eight per cent from the $549.2 million it reported for the same period in 2023.
The roadside billboards (over and under 25 sqm) revenue for the half year was $254.3 million, as compared to the $240.6 million it brought in the same time last year.
The roadside other category (including street furniture, bus/tram externals and small format) revenue for the half year was $131.8 million, up from the $124.7 million it recorded last year.
Transport (including airports) category revenues were also up – $77 million versus $62.5 million in 2023.
The retail, lifestyle and other category also recorded better revenues – from $121.3 million in 2023 to $130 million.
The Outdoor Media Association (OMA) said digital Out of Home (DOOH) revenue accounted for 74.4 per cent of its total net media revenue year-to-date, an increase over the recorded 71.9 per cent for the same period last year.
