PacPrint13 expected to be a 200 exhibitor sell-out

Martin told ProPrint more than 15,000 visitors were expected to come to the Melbourne show, which would translate into sales for the exhibitors.

“It gives them an opportunity to market themselves and their brand and their products and solutions to an audience of the biggest local industry clients that you will get under one roof,” he said.

“There’s really no other avenue where you get anywhere near as many people and clients at one exhibition.”

Paul Baker, exhibition director at Reed Exhibitions, said more than 45% of floorspace had already been booked.

Fujifilm, Fuji Xerox, Ricoh, Agfa, Konica Minolta, Cyber, Canon-Océ, GBC Australia, Jet Technologies, Aldus Engineering, Ferrostaal, Muller Martini, Venus Hartung, DES and Anitech have reserved space for next May’s event.

Fujifilm, Fuji Xerox, Ricoh and Muller Martini will “significantly increase their presence from the last show in 2009”, according to Baker.

He said PacPrint’s key trends would be digital and on-demand technologies, workflow innovation, sustainability and wide-format.

Visitors will also have access to the PacPrint Forum Series and the displays at the co-located Visual Impact Image Exhibition.

Martin told ProPrint that the show would have similar technologies as were shown at Drupa and would be a good alternative for people who hadn’t been able to go to Germany.
