Three amigos sell alliances

Andy vels Jensen, managing director of Heidelberg quipped that to printers the companies would be seen as the three amigos, while to competitors they would be the three bandidos.

Adrian Fleming, managing director of Kodak says, “Alliances for both suppliers and printers provide a key strategic advantage. This new arrangement will enable printers to benefit from integrated solutions that span the gamut of workflow, CTP digital printing and offset printing.”

According to vels Jensen there will be little in the way of overlap, says, “There are choices in some areas, which is a good thing, and subtle differences in others, all of which enable the printer to specify a solution that best suits their individual needs.”

Hiro Kaji, managing director of Konica Minolta first thanked Australian’s for their support following the earthquake and tsunami, then aid the aim of the new alliance was not to sell product but to deliver solutions for business growth.
