Paragon’s sister company sold by administrators

Administrators Hall Chadwick says it had continued to trade the business with the objective to secure on-going employment for the employees and to maximise overall return to creditors. To this end an “asset sale agreement” was executed on April 1.

Entity of Penfold by Office Choice USQ Investments acquired Moore Office’s business and assets in Brisbane while WCP Supplies, also trading under the Penfolds has bought the remainder of the business.

David Ross, from Hall Chadwick says, “Penfold by Office Choice has taken on all Moore Office staff in the agreement as well as all their entitlements and benefits. This outcome is a great result for the administrators and a fantastic result for employees we hope the transaction is a smooth one.”

Ross also confirmed that negations for the sale of Paragon Printing are on-going with several potential buyers meeting with administrators this week.
