Pent Net to launch new workflow at PrintEx

Australian based software company Pent Net is set to launch two new products, which it says are designed to cover workflow from online ordering through to prepress, production, printing, finishing and delivery, at PrintEx15 in May.

The company says ‘extensive research’ led to its first new product, the Pent Net Variable Data Module, which has been developed with print service providers in mind, and results in a ‘practical and easy to use variable data module’.

The second new product by the software company is the Pent Net Online Job Board, which features a dashboard displaying all jobs on screen. It also allows for jobs to be rearranged, and the system will automatically reprioritise the job ticket – or the user can manually reorganise the jobs if desired.

The Australian based company says both modules can connect to a wide range of other MIS, including Tharsten, Quote and Print, Prism, Prinergy, Prinect, Enfocus Switch, MYOB, SAP, Peoplesoft, as well as pre-flight software such as PitStop, which is JDF compliant and links directly to many offset and digital printers.

Pent Net says it can offer ‘significant advantages’ in system integration, customisation and support because all of its products are developed in Australia.

Pent Net says it will have product specialists at PrintEx15, held in Sydney Olympic Park from May 13 to 15, to discuss the company’s entire product range.
