Peter Clark wins exclusive Industry Achievement Award at ProPrint Awards

Industry legend Peter Clark has been posthumously awarded the 2022 ProPrint Awards Industry Achievement Award.

The award was accepted by Richard Clark, Peter’s son.

Peter is recognised for his lifetime commitment to print. At the time of his passing in July this year, he was serving as the President of the Print & Visual Communication Association and was recognised as being an instrumental force in the successful merger with The Real Media Collective.

Peter was chosen for this award from a pool of high calibre nominees. Last year’s Power 50 Top 10 and Platinum Sponsor Matt Ashman of Durst Oceania were tasked with the difficult job of deciding the winner.

From this voting it was clear that Peter, who served this industry for his entire working life, including learning the trade as a young apprentice, to working in various printing businesses before eventually starting his own successful operation which would later be acquired by what is now Australia’s largest diversified print conglomerate was the obvious choice.

Peter remains a well known and loved member of this industry. This was proven again earlier this year when he was inducted into the PVCA’s Industry Honour Roll at the National Print Awards in June.

Congratulations to Peter Clark and his family from the ProPrint team.

  1. I only recently caught up with Peter. I always knew he had the drive to be innovative and successful from his apprenticeship days. He shared his achievements with me and I was not astonished. Even in “retirement “ he didn’t stop. “Retire Peter and fish “ Didn’t work out. Absolute respect!!!
