Peter Wagener and All Flags Signs & Banners emerges from ‘brink of extinction’

A consortium has purchased a series of WA-based businesses owned by Peter Wagener that went into liquidation late last year re-launching as All Flags Signs & Banners.

Peter Wagener has been appointed general manager of the new business (All Flags and Signs Pty Ltd – ABN 45 673 507 705) and his wife Rhonda has been appointed as operations manager.

Wagener’s two sons have also remained with the business – one as floor manager and the other will manage installations.

The consortium, who currently remains unidentified, has purchased a group of businesses that relate to a ‘Notice of Deemed Special Resolution to Wind Up a Company’ issued in November last year relating to a number of businesses owned by Wagener: Wagener Holdings (trading as All-Signs, All Flags Signs and Banners, Pennant House, Photos on Glass, Dot Imagery, All Flags); All Signs WA; Double Trouble WA (trading as Euro Poles Textile Displays, Euro Poles and Flag Displays, LF Media; Pennant House; Vuteks WA (trading as Vuteks WA and Flexible Signage Solutions).

Administrators were appointed on 27 September last year and despite early expectations that the businesses may resume trading, the businesses entered liquidation. Wagener also resigned as a board member of Visual Connections.

Sprinter understands the new business has been operating since mid-December. A statement was issued almost a month later on Thursday last week titled: “WE ARE BACK!! Navigating New Horizons – All Flags Signs & Banners Emerges Stronger”.

“It is with immense gratitude and excitement that I share some uplifting news about the future of All Flags Signs & Banners. I am delighted to announce that we have successfully secured a new owner, marking a pivotal moment in our journey,” Wagener said in the statement.

“Through the collective efforts of our dedicated team and the support of our stakeholders, we have navigated the challenges that led us to the brink of extinction. Today I am thrilled to inform you that All Flags Signs & Banners is no under external administration or in liquidation and is back in full swing, ready to continue providing exceptional print solutions, as it has been for the past 30+ years.

“This achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering loyalty and support we have received from our valued customers, stakeholders and industry partners. Your trust has been our driving force and we are committed to delivering on our promises with renewed vigour and dedication.

“As we embark on this new chapter, I want to express my sincere gratitude for standing by us during the recent uncertainties. Your support has been instrumental in shaping the future of our company and we are excited to continue serving you with the same level of excellence that you have come to expect from All Signs & Banners.

“We look forward to working with every one of our suppliers and customers and rebuilding the mutual relationships that brought us all the successes and results we desired. May the coming year be filled with new opportunities, successes and shared achievements.

“Thank you once again for your continued support, and I look forward to a bright and prosperous future together.”
