Photo gallery: Konica Minolta promotes AccurioShine 3600 ahead of Drupa

Konica Minolta recently held an industry demonstration event to promote the sale of the AccurioShine 3600 machine featuring MGI varnish technology.

The AccurioShine 3600 is the first machine featuring MGI technology that is branded as Konica Minolta and replaces the previously available MGI JetVarnish 3D1.

According to Konica Minolta general manager of production and industrial print, Andy Cocker, although the AccurioShine 3600 was launched last year, Konica Minolta believes now is the ideal time to capture the attention of potential printing customers as we approach a new sales cycle ahead of Drupa in 2024.

“The feedback from the customers we have spoken to has been very positive and we are expecting sales in Australia and New Zealand in the near future.”

“This product will definitely be on our stand at Drupa and will suit a printer that is either in the short run packaging sector or is looking to enter the space with a product that can also deliver additional value across a multitude of other applications requiring embellishment from books, magazines or brochures, to business cards and invitations as well as tickets, menus and personalised promotional materials.

“We have doubled the footprint of our large MGI Evo System over the last 12 to 18 months and we expect there will be a lot of interest in the AccurioShine 3600.”
